Author Guidelines

The volume of a scientific article considered as a publication on the topic should be at least 5 pages of A4 text (210x297) without tables and figures (14,000 printed characters, including spaces between words, punctuation marks, numbers, and others).

Text and tables should be typed in the Microsoft Word editor with the .doc extension, Times New Roman font, 14 size, single line spacing, paragraph -1.25 cm, no hyphenation, margins: left - 3 cm, right -2 cm, top - 2 cm , bottom - 2 cm. Figures are accepted in jpg format.

Tables should be placed directly in the text after the mention, have a title according to the width of the text without a paragraph. Numbering of tables in Arabic numerals (Table 1 - Research results...). Links in the text (table 1), etc. The note to the table should be located immediately below the table from paragraph 1.25 cm.

Figures should be placed directly in the text after the mention, have a title under the figure in the center. Numbering of figures in Arabic numerals (Figure 1 - Research results ...). Links in the text (Figure 1), etc.

Articles are submitted: by mail in printed form with the signatures of the authors, an expert opinion on the possibility of publication is attached; by e-mail to: belbulba@tut.by

Articles are submitted in Russian or English.

Scientific articles published in the collection "Potato Growing" in accordance with the requirements of the Editorial Board must include the following elements: UDC index; title of the article in capital letters (bold font, in Russian); surname and initials of the author (authors) of the article (bold font, in Russian); name of the institution, own e-mail; summary (italics, in Russian, up to 10 lines should clearly state the content of the article); keywords (in Russian); introduction (a brief review of the literature on this problem, previously unresolved issues are indicated, the purpose of the work is formulated and substantiated, its connection with important scientific and practical areas is indicated); materials and methodology; research results; conclusion (clearly formulated conclusions, the main results obtained with an indication of their novelty, advantages and possibilities of application); literature (design in accordance with the rules of the Higher Attestation Commission www.vak.org.by - Regulatory documents - Instructions for the preparation of a dissertation, abstract and publications on the topic of the dissertation - Appendix 2, references to other authors' works are numbered according to the citation order in the text, serial numbers references should be written inside square brackets; title of the article, surname and initials of the author (authors) of the article, summary, keywords (in English)).

The authors are responsible for the content of the publication. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the subject matter and the above requirements.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
